PRATT, PhD, has worked in imaging technology at the University of Southern California, Sun Microsystems, and, more recently, at Photon Dynamics, Inc. He was one of the primary developers of the Programmer??????????????????s Imaging Kernel System (PIKS) utilized in this volume.
