It provides easy to access translations of over 2500 building design and construction terms, cross-referenced across five languages. The first section sets out English headwords in alphabetical order and with a numerical code. The equivalent German, Spanish, French and Italian terms are listed alongside. Each of these four languages is then given in alphabetical order in the second section, together with the number of the English equivalent terms. With this cross-referencing system, translations can quickly be found between any of the languages.
