This book is divided into two parts and is designed to help mental health care professionals outline and measure the outcome of a patient's or client's treatment. The first part reviews the conceptual and practical aspects of designing and implementing an outcomes management strategy. In the second part, the authors build on their own experiences to provide specific examples of strategies of outcomes management for different types of mental health services. This will ultimately prepare the reader to lead or actively participate in the process of including outcomes as a crucial component of the management and administration of behavioral healthcare.
