A Kiwi farmer and jack of all trades experienced a spiritual rebirth in his mid-fifties and gave up his wool buying business to begin mission work.
Starting in South Auckland, he worked with a local mission organisation distributing food for those in need, then travelled to Hong Kong to work with Vietnamese refugees and people experiencing drug addiction.
His final destination on his ten-year mission journey was to Mercy Ships in the United Kingdom, where he used his many and various life skills in the service of God, working on the refit of the Africa Mercy hospital ship.
