Bad and the Good: Children's Sermons and Activity Pages for Lent and Easter

This series of children's messages help young people understand the suffering and death of Jesus in a positive way. Throughout the series the children are asked to participate with word opposites. Julia Bland has taught children of all ages. She has been a pastor's wife for 44 years and during those years gave a children's message during the worship service in churches where her husband served as pastor. She is the mother of six children and fourteen grandchildren. Julia has in her lifetime worked in various jobs ranging from cafe cook to teacher's aid, to art instructor for oil painting in college out-reach programs. Her award-winning oil, watercolor and pen and ink drawings have appeared in both private and public collections. She makes her home in Lincoln, Kansas.
