Before I Was Jesus

In Genesis we read that "God" created the heavens and the earth. But in the gospel of John we discover it was Jesus who brought everything into existence. Which was it?-God or Jesus? We seem to easily forget that Jesus IS God. He is the fullness of God in bodily form.

But wait!-If Jesus did the creating in Genesis 1, but didn't come in the flesh until Bethlehem... then where was he and what was he doing between Creation and the manger?

That's what this book will investigate. You will also discover 25 times Jesus appeared throughout the Bible under "secret identities". Jesus has been with us from the beginning. After all, he is the "first and the last, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. He has been with humanity throughout our existence-but maybe we just didn't recognize him.

A "theophany" is a scholastic, intellectual, theological and non-personal term for an 'appearance' or manifestation of God. The term holds no passion and no feeling; But "Jesus", well, that's different. He is personable, warm and loving.

Rather than me lecturing about these appearances where you might miss the passion and person of Jesus, this book will be presented as if Jesus, Himself, were telling you his story from the pages of your own Bible. And that's why the title is "Before I was Jesus."
