Vision Quest: Book 1 of the Vision Quest

The Vision Quest book one is the first in a science fiction/fantasy/series set in the not-too-distant future where the Earth has evolved into a brave, new, and unified world. It is the age of Light. Our story begins with Lazer, Kyla, and Cashton, who live on the newly risen continent of Atlantia in the middle of the ocean, each struggling to find their place in society. In a single day, their near-utopian world changes. They are forced to face the wrath of a newly sentient, biological machine, called the Black Guard, and they're ever-growing legions of mechanical followers bent on the destruction of mankind. These reluctant young heroes must prepare for the coming war and seek the help of a powerful half-human slicer to teach them how to remember the limitless powers of the Visionistic Arts, which man has long forgotten. They must join with the leaders of unified Earth, remember the knowings, and discover the power of the mysterious and ancient gnorbs in time to save humanity.
