You can empower children who have been bullied. This anti-bullying book provides adults with an exciting, different approach to helping children who have been injured by the hurtful words of bullies. Adult allies (teachers, parents, grandparents) are guided to have active conversations with a child to develop their inner qualities of resilience. As teachers and parents, we have learned that children realize inner qualities (strength, creativity, generosity, etc.) truly do rest within themselves as they identify a time when they actively demonstrated that quality. Students write about their qualities, illustrate themselves in action showing their qualities, then recopy their qualities of heart to effectively replace the echoes of bullying with messages of strength. The guide includes ALLY pages for adult's use and HEART pages pages for young people. HEART pages are very important conversation pages.
