I was just told what to do and did it with some regrets later, but that did not deter me from changing my career. Remember it is your career, and you must take charge of your life while listening and acting on the best advice.

The decisions you make could have long-lasting value. In my case where I just completed a very successful contract at a big company at the age of 73 and I can't wait to start the next project. I had many challenges, i.e. Friends distractions. Fortunately, I resisted peer pressure and focused on my studies and career.
