Darren has been writing children's stories for over a decade. The idea of the first series of The Lowly Chicken came about as a dream one night. Having realised the importance of this dream and its message, Darren immediately set about making the dream a reality and began typing away and has not stopped since. Little did he know the reaction he would get from friends' children, asking, "What happens next?" They were interested and wanted to learn more. So, Darren had the drive to continue to write more stories. This 2nd story gives us an idea of the time and place where the stories are set and his new life with his new friends.
