Aspects of the Gods: A Paths to Redemption novel

A tyrannical king. A quest for redemption. A battle against an ancient evil. Nefir never asked for this life.

Guilt-ridden and traumatized by all he has seen and done; he makes the difficult decision to desert the army of the king he despises. His plan is simple: escape to Folds, find a ship and work passage to the desert lands to the east, assume a quiet life, and eke out his remaining days in anonymity.
