This book represents the author's 25 years of experience rescuing and raising cats and kittens. During these years she has encountered and researched a variety of cat diseases as well as many ways of preventing them. It has always been her belief that it is preferable to work with the natural body. Her experience has shown that when a cat is seriously ill, usually drug intervention is indicated because drugs are stronger and better able to fight infection, especially when an animal's immune system is overwhelmed. However, many times the illness is illusive and is not easily diagnosed, which is when alternative scientific creativity can come into play. This book reflects some interesting ideas on arthritis, asthma, bladder or urinary problems, cancer, diabetes, FIV, feline leukemia, and tumors, etc. It is her hope that by sharing these discoveries many cats will live a healthier, happier life.
