Luca Davenport travels to a small North Carolina town following a family tradition that had been done for generations. When he meets Presley Kluttz he is immediately drawn to her. Presley was a pretty, fun loving and popular cheerleader until a tragic accident and her mother's lies tore apart her family. Now jaded and guarded she limits her relationships to a special few, so she is unnerved by her instant connection with Luca. As their relationship grows so do their troubles.
