In 1996, it felt as though my life had fallen apart when I learned one of my sons was a victim of a violent sexual predator. The predator was a long time family friend and neighbor. Through the long ordeal, I found the courage and the strength to overcome the emotional and psychology trauma that was thrust not only into my life, but also the lives of my children, other family members, and friends. Tenacity was the driving force in my pursuit for justice.
