Spring!

Our heroine wonders about what her mother means when her mother (paraphrasing Pablo Nurada) tells her, "You can cut off all of the flowers, but you can't hold back Spring!" And so, she goes about telling everyone she knows what her mother said to see if they can tell her what her mother meant.
