Willy's Love

Synopsis: Willy, part terrier, and Bailey, German Shepherd, both rescue dogs live in the neck as neighbors. The pair met in the early spring in a bean field between their two homes, It was love at first sight for both of them. As their friendship grew, so did their adventures. The lovers followed the river to Afton State Park over two miles from home. Does this dangerous adventure end well or do the two dogs need to be rescued once again?

Autobiography: Award-winning children's author, Diane Davies, makes her home in the neck (narrow strip of land bordering a river) along the St Croix River in Minnesota. Her two grandchildren live in the house next door, making life enjoyable for all. Grandma Diane rescued Willy from Rough Start Rescue in Houston, Texas giving him his forever home just as the Covid pandemic was spreading across the country.
