Psalms of Life

This book is a collection of spoken word poetry. Most of the selections are written in rhymed poetic verse and meant to be performed-just as author and poet Delores Lakey-Stewart has performed the selection across the country. The poems featured in Psalms of Life are 'rhythmic dramatic monologues' written to venerate historical and Biblical characters. In the same novel way, she pays homage to people in her "village" with 'spoken word tributes' honoring their birthdays, anniversaries, and home-goings.
