Conta & Boehme Fairing Trinket Boxes is a collection of over 1000 Victorian era porcelain fairing trinket boxes, including many rare and never-before-seen pieces. Fairings were prizes won at local fairs during the 1800s in the US and Europe. With over 1300 images, this book also touches on other items made by Conta & Boehme in Poessneck, Germany. Some of those items include inkwells, pocket watch holders, pin cushions, cigar holders, match holders and more. The author shares many observations, along with tips for correctly identifying matches between the lid and base of a trinket box. Also included are details for each item and a few interesting finds in her personal collection that has spanned over thirty years.
