A magnet motor has a PM to EM ratio of 1 to 1. So this motor using this new technology of a PM to EM ratio of 5 to 1 would be more efficient. The new technology takes advantage of the torque that is within a permanent magnet and maximized it into motion with the assistance of electromagnets operating at a reduced 25% duty cycle. The stator operates with the two electromagnet circuits along with 50% of the stator assembly populated with permanent magnets. The one stator assembly operates with two rotor assemblies. The rotor assemblies only have permanent magnets populated on them. This book has several optional motor designs.
