This book is NOT anti-police...it IS anti-police brutality! It is simply told from the perspective of a young black boy who has real life questions. The book helps parents have this really difficult conversation. It also addresses the Social Emotional Learning component of Social Awareness (Understanding the perspectives and feelings of others /teaching empathy).
