Mia Duran is a young witch who was adopted at the age of two after her mother was brutally murdered. Her adoptive mother seems to be the embodiment of the perfect parent, except for two things: She's a blood drinker and a witch hunter.

This complicates Mia's life, leaving her without the guidance she needs as her magical abilities grow unruly.
