Three years after she lost the love of her life, Tania's dreams are dead. She's certain her heart is broken for good-and she's been fired. Now she's back in Roxton Falls, Québec, helping her parents run their sugar shack.

As if having her dessert experiments vetoed by her mother wasn't bad enough, Tania discovers the sugar shack is the subject of a new documentary. The filmmaker? Her high-school ex, Nolan, who left Tania for the "safe" job, and then finally got the guts to follow his dreams...without her.

Grieving and frustrated, Tania tries to bury herself in work. But she does have "needs"-and Nolan hasn't got any less attractive.

Agreeing to a strictly-casual fling, Tania can't help thinking there's more to Nolan than his happy-go-lucky facade. And when the past catches up with them both, Tania and Nolan discover the only way through...is together.
