Elisha has big secrets she has kept for years. Enduring years of pain while she watched her soulmate unravel, she learned to love the unlovable and hide the unthinkable. This book, based on a true story, is about loving an addict and keeping his secrets.
Elisha's story is about resilience, compassion, tremendous vulnerability, and most of all, possibility. Her experience teaches readers to embrace pain and not to avoid it. Through her tale of heartache comes an understanding of the complex relationship between guilt and innocence, anger and forgiveness, and despair and hope. Though she has never known love without addiction, she has also never known an addict unworthy of love.
There is no love without truth.
