Jan Wade grew up in Sydney, Australia and at 14 became a copy girl on the Sydney Morning Herald.
Jan soon became an illustrator on well known Australian magazines.
This led to working in publishing and illustrating over 300 books.
Her first published book was in 1988, "Australian Flower Fairies"
Until recently, Jan lived on 100 beautiful acres on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
Sadly, the 2019 bush fires raced through the property
taking all Jan's books and much artwork.
This is why Jan has wanted her books republished.
The fairies needed to come back.
