Black Emperor

Alanora is a place with few rules. A country divided into those who work and those who play. In a lawless place there is only one force that can keep the world under control; guilds of assassins. When someone is wronged, they hire an assassin to clear the ordeal.
Isaac is The Black Emperor, a seemingly unstoppable force of a being who has quickly made a name for himself as one of the best. His secret to success, he has the power to stop time itself. For years he has operated with little push back and no longer finds any challenge in the world, growing tired and apathetic to those around him. He is alone in his extraordinary abilities, or so he thinks. After an otherwise ordinary and boring job, Isaac encounters a potential enemy and new challenge. This meeting alters his world irrevocably, and throws Alanora into turmoil.
With the help of those that he had once disregarded, Isaac will have to over come a group who possess similar supernatural powers to his own. Whether he succeeds or not will depend on his ability to overcome the draining power of his own disinterest.
The Black Emperor is a story about identity and what happens when you obtain the very thing you always wanted.
