Croatian Outlier

As an unknown force threatens to invade Croatia for its land and resources, a Croatian-Canadian outlier in Hamilton, Canada is visited by a team of Croatian political leaders from the future. Identified for his unique abilities, they seek his help. With little to lose, Marin accepts and leaves his apartment and untroubled life in Hamilton for wealth and adventure in an uncertain future. Soon, he finds himself in a Retro Zagreb that's somehow both from the past and future, in the middle of a confrontation that could result in the wholesale destruction of the country.
