A Method Based in Solfa
PianoForte is a creative method based on the principles of Kodály, Orff & Gordon who believed that 'sound should come before symbol'. The PianoForte Method combines these methods with traditional high quality piano teaching to provide students with a creative, progressive method that develops aural skills through Moveable Solfa.
The Major Scales book teaches Piano Fingering, Solfa and Key Signatures. The Major Scales book introduces the major keys easily and effectively, helping students develop deep understanding of tonal centres and how to read notation in each key. It is a workbook to help students learn piano fingerings, key signatures and the Circle of Fifths. This book is a companion book to the PianoForte method series and recommended as a companion book when students are in PianoForte Level 3.
