Mrs Ockleton's Rainbow Kite and Other Tales: Teacher Resource Book

Through the various activities in this fully photocopiable book, teachers will have the opportunity to develop their students' multiple intelligences in relation to the use and understanding of English literature. In addition, the activities will develop students' analytical thinking skills and creativity and improve exam performance.The activities are based on the accompanying audio CD (see below) of original stories. These stories provide an exciting but accessible opportunity to develop students' emotional and intellectual responses to fiction and their ability to select and organise information, and read, write and think imaginatively. Particular attention has been paid to ensure that the stories appeal to boys as well as girls. All the activities are described with clear learning objectives for the teacher and student.
