This book carries a punch when it comes to breaking down the recipes of a Paleo diet in easy to understand steps, with ingredients that are accessible from our local grocery.
I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to completely go vegetarian, as this book was able to offer creative and delicious recipes with veggies, meat, bacon, tuna and salmon, and even fruit without having to stray away from the principle of the Paleo diet. There is even a helpful calorie per serving information at the end of each recipe that I found very encouraging in keeping my daily calories in check.

"I love the idea of having a recipe book filled with salads because it is so easy to make the same basic dish!
At first I was upset that there were no photos, but as I continued to read the recipes, the more I realized they are SOOO simple & to the point, so there is no getting confused or wondering if its suppose to look a certain way.
I have made the "Yummy Sesame Beef Salad" (I don't think that is the exact title but you get the point!) And oh my was it colorful and delicious! Purple cabbage & grated carrot mixed with chopped salad and sesame oil. Seasoned ground beef with toasted sesame seeds mixed in and oh my..what a meal.
Last night I made the poached cod citrus salad.
Sliced fennel with poached cod, orange & lemon dressing. Let me say, I did not think I would like this but it was SO different from what I am use to cooking. It was enjoyable. Also, my husband who is 6'4" and I really thought this was a side dish but because you're getting your nutrients, you are FULL! We were amazed.
