If you're sitting down, get out of the chair, and go into your bathroom.

Switch on the light, go over to the mirror, and look at yourself.

Don't look at your hair, brow, cheeks, or chin.

Look at your eyes.

Or, rather, look into your eyes.

Push your face up close so you see them and nothing else.

Stare into them, and into your soul.

While you're staring, greet yourself, calm yourself, and say the following words out loud:

I am a writer.

I can feel it in my bones.

I am ready to embark on the greatest adventure of my life.
