Their plan to trap the troublemakers is a little silly (and includes some very dramatic acting), but when everything goes comically wrong, they discover something unexpected: three little mice who aren't mean or mischievous-just lonely, and hoping to join in the fun.

This story began as a bedtime tale shared between a father and his son, and many years later, was brought back to life by the joyful play of grandchildren among the trees. At its heart is a reminder: even the wildest woods become more magical when everyone feels like they belong.
