From the depths of an old mine shaft beneath the pitch, fourteen bizarre and bonkers android footballers emerge - including an invisible ghost striker, a player with nuclear-powered legs, and a yeti who eats cannonballs like apples. They call themselves... the Turf Devils.

With the local football club facing disaster and demotion, Charlie and his grandad Sean suddenly find themselves managing the strangest team the world has ever seen. Can the Turf Devils save the club, survive a match without setting the pitch on fire, and stop trying to eat the equipment?
