ABOUT THE AUTHOR

LINDA WRIGHT has always adored dolls. She was in her peak years of playing with them when the first Barbie was introduced and rocked her young world. She fell in love with sewing at age thirteen and went on to study textiles, pattern-making, tailoring and clothing design at the Pennsylvania State University. During that time, she received additional experience through summer jobs and a practicum at garment factories. In subsequent years, she was trained in drapery-making and upholstering.
