Nursing At Its Finest discusses the author's personal and professional journey to become a Registered Nurse. Each chapter, from the beginning to the end, describes what inspired her to gain interest in this field and the steps she took to achieve such a goal. She doesn't hold back on all of the challenges she faced; she is transparent in how she overcame them and what she has learned because of them. She takes the reader into her world and allows them to empathize with all that she has endured.

This book exemplifies the author's perspective while giving knowledge to not only upcoming nurses, but also nurses already in the field. From her account, she discusses tackling nursing school, taking the NCLEX, getting that first nursing job and those thereafter. She inspires the reader to continue their journey on their own terms and to never let someone else dictate that for them.
