Minor Prophets: Battling for the Hearts of God's People

Ancient Israel often lived down to the literal meaning of its name-"wrestles with God." They were a most difficult people. And they were not alone in their tendency toward rebellion. Thankfully, God always lives up to His loving and gracious character. Especially through His prophets, God continually fought for the hearts and souls of His chosen people. The Minor Prophets powerfully remind us that He still does. We're blessed to serve a God who loves fiercely, who loves us more fully and more wisely than we could ever love ourselves. To His credit and glory, He makes it stunningly hard to leave Him.
