Unveiling a Forgotten Legacy is more than a photo book-it's a powerful narrative of the Black communities disrupted by IUPUI's expansion into Indianapolis's near-west side. This book explores the cost of progress and asks what could have been if these neighborhoods had been allowed to thrive. It highlights the ongoing displacement of marginalized communities and emphasizes that change requires action, not just time. Through this project, I've learned the importance of community support, and this book serves as both a resource and a call to action for preserving forgotten legacies.
