Casey and his pup Dylan are headed to Yosemite with best friend Sumo for what's supposed to be a laid-back summer: camping, rafting, and lots of s'mores. But when their guide-famous historian Edmund Beau-vanishes on the night of a rare blue moon, the adventure takes a wild turn.

The locals whisper about Juliette's Curse, a necklace stolen 200 years ago by Gold Rush bandits. Before they could escape, Juliette LeBlanc cursed them and the necklace, saying the curse could only be broken during a blue moon. The necklace was never found. Those who search for it never live to tell the tale.

Now it's up to Casey, Dylan, and Sumo, better known as Dylan's Dog Squad, to sniff out the truth before the curse claims its next victim.
