The Magpie Cards features the wise, enigmatic and compassionate Madam Maria Popoff and her quirky vintage dress shop in the seaside town of Margate. Poppy, a middle-aged woman, relocates from London to Margate and finds gainful employment in the shop. Things cross the threshold that have a story to tell.
