Sylvia Martin Vega is a retired nurse whose passion for storytelling has been a lifelong companion. Her talent for crafting evocative poetry has been recognized across various media platforms, including CBS Dallas-Ft. Worth and the MTTA (Married To The Army) website. Her work has also been featured in the Monadnock Writers Group Monadnock Reader.

Sylvia's ability to weave compelling narratives has earned her a place in diverse literary spaces. One of her short stories was showcased in a Women's History Month exhibit at Wellesley College, while an opening line from her fiction found its way into a celebrated collection curated by San Jose State University.
