Fare Thee Well Rescue Poems for Abused Women

In Fare-Thee-Well, Joan Meyers gathers her collection of poems, her personal testimonies, on the very difficult subject of spousal abuse and domestic violence. Through her works written over a six-year period, the poet shares her journey from bondage to freedom.

Putting pen to paper was an essential part of the healing process, as she careened her way through a dark tunnel filled with evil, creating poems such as: "House of Silence," "Winding Sheet," and "Interrogation Scene."
