Within and around us, we wrestle with angels and demons, both
shaping and frustrating our journey. Our souls cry out to the Lord in the
struggle, often leaving us limping, our hips put out of joint, yet it is in
this sacred wrestling that we are named and known. In life, there is no
predetermined victory-only the unfolding reality of our pilgrim walk.
The path is marked by the places where we stopped to grapple, the
moments of struggle that reveal who we are becoming. It is in these
encounters, with the divine and the broken alike, that our identity takes
shape. In this book you can join me in prayer. Let us pray.
