Adventures of Hailey The Therapy Dog!: Life of a Therapy dog with her owner and handler

Hailey and I are so happy you chose to read our book. Our goal was to share our adventures making adults and children smile. We hope we were able to make your day special. Our aspiration was to bring laughter, hope and a better day for everyone our hearts touch.

Eric is a retired food industry engineer. He began training Hailey, his 9 pound Pocket Beagle, beginning at 8 weeks old. Hailey is currently 12 years old. Eric was trained to be a handler when he volunteered for Paws for Healing and Reading. He appreciates watching children smile when they interact with Hailey. She will touch the book with her paw to tell them it is time to turn the page. He also enjoys being with senior citizens, and see them smile and laugh when Hailey does some of her 30 remarkable tricks.
