Book 1 of 2 (Epicurean Series)
It is the purpose of this book, the first of a two-part series, to, through an Epicurean lens, examine the obstacles to a good life and introduce solutions.
Most of what this book says, the sequel will expand on, but much must be left to the reader to develop in their own mind and in their own way.
This book has been written and edited with that critical view in mind. Once the background material has been covered, the obstacles to a pleasant life will be presented, followed by the tools required to overcome them, and then the habits and practice that apply those tools.
Book two will expand on this by presenting potential problems with Epicurean ideas and methods, and troubleshoot additional obstacles that may emerge in applying them.
