This book presents the exceptional tactics of Mikhail Tal from the period 1949-1960. 300 chess puzzles, subdivided into beginner, intermediate and advanced level. The beginner puzzles are approximately one half, the intermediate one third, with the rest advanced tactics. So, the bulk are beginner and intermediate puzzles. All positions have been carefully checked with Stockfish. What you will get after reading this book: - better understanding of tactics in practical game situations - the correct assessment of many positions - where Tal went wrong. And, of course, getting in touch with a tactical genius like Tal is an unforgettable experience. It brings joy, it brings satisfaction, even if you are not in the best of moods. I would not miss this book, really.
