Adventures Of Flopadopalus: The Elephant Village

The inspiration for these books came from my then 7 year old daughter, who received a soft toy animal from her great grandmother. To this day, this wonderful creature cannot be classified against any known species. Flopadopalus is a curious creature, highly inquisitive with the ability to travel using just his thoughts. His travelling companion is called Flux, an old, wise hedgehog who doesn't show his age (think Yoda). The books all follow the premise that Flopadopalus has an element in his life that he fears or lacks confidence in. A situation, either in school or elsewhere, inspires him to imagine a scene. His concentrated thoughts transport him there with his friend Flux. During the adventure, facts are learnt and he inadvertently overcomes his fear which becomes apparent on their return. www.adventuresofflopadopalus.com
