Still Breaking Normal: A Fat, Black, Femme, Geek Navigating an Anti-Black World

Marriage, Fandom, Misogynoir, Anti-Blackness, and White Accountability. For the past two years, TaLynn Kel has written about her experiences, from her interracial marriage, her love/hate relationship with fandom and learning to survive a dominant society that repeatedly tells her she should be grateful to exist at all. As she navigates her life as a fat, Black, femme geek, TaLynn shares her struggles and her triumphs, her complicity and her rebellions.
