World of Regret: The Trial of Truth

In a world split into two, one side stands as a utopia of equality, known as the New World. Under a single government and a unified set of laws called the Ian Royale Code of Laws, life is simple and fair. The U.W.E.G. ensures that everyone has equal housing, three meals a day, comprehensive healthcare, and a world free from poverty and major crimes. The price of this peace? Absolute obedience to their rules.
If anyone breaks the Ian Royale Code of Laws, they face the ultimate consequence-banishment to Regret, one of nine open-world prisons. In Regret, there are no rules, no mercy-only chaos. It's a lawless wasteland ruled by cannibals, murderers, rapists, and warlords. Survival belongs to the strong, and everyone fights for themselves.
The story follows Preliator 0444 and the rest of the PAC-19, elite super-soldiers of the U.W.E.G., on their first mission into Regret. Their task is to retrieve prisoners whose sentences have ended and bring them back to the New World.
But as they journey deeper into Regret's frozen prairie lands, they face not just the dangers of the prisoners, but something far worse-something unseen. It watches them, taunts them, and begins taking them down one by one. Suddenly, the hunters become the hunted. And the more they uncover the truth behind this lurking threat, the more they wish they hadn't.
