Two hundred and forty-five years ago, high-class Englishman, Carter Patton, happened upon a book which transported him to a different world. After a century of searching for a way back, five decades of wandering Braemyr, and another century of self-appointed isolation, he sees no end to his dull existence.

Aura Laufeld is on the cusp of finishing her PhD, but she's far from living her best life.
