Iran's enmity with Israel is ideological in the first place and strategic in the second. Iran has invested heavily in its external asymmetric capability, creating and maintaining a network of regional partners with which it shares strategic aims, ideological affinity (to varying degrees) and, critically, weapons systems. This book refers to the foundations and dimensions of the security-political challenges of the overt and covert conflicts between Israel and Iran in the region, and discusses the important dimensions and consequences of this issue.
