Application of unmodified and acid modified fruit peel powder- - banana peel [BP], orange peel [OP], lemon peel [LP], mango peel [MP] powder and acid Modified banana peel [MBP], Modified orange peel [MOP], Modified lemon peel [MLP] and Modified mango peel [MMP] powder as an adsorbent for removal of organic contamination of sugar industry waste water is the heart of this book. Acid Modified Mango Peel Powder is most powerful adsorbent among all 8 adsorbents. The comparison of unmodified and acid modified fruits peel lead us to the conclusion that acid modified fruits peels have good adsorption capacity than unmodified fruits peels. All 8 adsorbent follow Fruendlich and Langmuir Adsorption Isotherm for COD and BOD removal.
